Among his better known works are Burial in Jerusalem, In a Straight Lincolnshire and Number Casualties to our Forces. He was one of the key figures in the Nimrodi affairs of 1994–2004, a series of incidents in the framework of the rivalry between leading newspapers Yedioth Ahronoth and Maariv, and was sentenced to five months incarceration (to be served doing public service).
