(One of the most interesting features of cancer in Europe ...)
One of the most interesting features of cancer in Europe is the geographical difference in cancer incidence and mortality. This is reflected in the present Atlas, which constitutes the first comprehensive monograph on cancer epidemiology in central Europe. The aim of this publication is to guide public health institutions in cancer prevention and to generate hypotheses for analytical epidemiological studies.
