Rosamond Lehmann (1901-1990)
Rosamond Lehmann was educated at Cambridge and wrote the bestselling Dusty Answer in her twenties. She is one of the most distinguished novelists of the last century and was awarded a CBE in 1982.
Career
She also translated two French novels into English: Jacques Lemarchand's Genevieve (1948) and Jean Cocteau's Children of the Game (1955).
