Background
He was born September 24, 1956 in the village Raven Grodno region. Parents completed the Belarusian Agricultural Academy in Gorki. Father was an engineer, land surveyors, his mother - an agronomist.
By decision of the Council of the European Union, February 2011 Sergei Ablameyko included in the list of persons prohibited from entering the territory of the European Union.
Education
In 1978 he graduated from the University on a specialty "Mathematics", his thesis was published in the scientific and technical collection ITC BSSR "Theory and methods for design automation," and awarded the first scientific institute for the publication of Young Scientists. After the graduation, he was assigned to all in the same institute, where nearly a quarter of a century has gone from an intern researcher to CEO (2003)
In 1980 he enrolled in graduate school. At the suggestion of the supervisor of the Director ICT OI Semenkova went on to develop a system of automatic processing of cartographic images. In 1984 the Institute of Cybernetics, Academy of Sciences of Ukraine defended based on the research thesis.
After defending his continued research in this direction. Developed the basic theory of processing and recognition of different classes of objects in the graphic documents, the construction of mathematical models of graphic documents. The result was published in the 1993 monograph "Information Processing in raster graphics systems" (co-authors: O. Semenkov, VI Bereyshik, Starovoitov VV).
In 1990 he defended his doctoral dissertation. After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the actual termination of funding of the Institute extends the research on medical treatment, and drawings and graphics, images, integrated circuits and other objects.
