Ruby Bhatia was born on the 1st of November, 1973 in Alabama to the family of Canada-based Harbans and Premlata Bhatia. At the age of three, she was adopted by Prem Krishan and Saroj Bhatia, who actually became her parents and whom she called Mama and Daddy. Ruby began a prolific career when she won the Miss India Canada contest in 1993 She moved to Mumbai to be a VJ for Channel V. Later she appeared in several Hindi serials as well as in movies.
