Teacher of Counterpoint at the R.C.M. 1895. Published Compositions: an oratorio, “ The Temple ” (Worcester Festival, 1902). A cantata, Everyman (Leeds Festival, 1904).
A sacred Symphony in F (Hereford Festival, 1906). A Choral Cycle called Noble Numbers (Hereford Festival, 1909). Two other Song Cycles, Songs of a Day and The Long Journey.
