Completed secondary and specialized tech training in Warsaw.
From his youth in revol movement. 1900 joined Social-Democratic Parly of Poland and Lith and was deleg of its 5th and 6th Congresses. Attended 5th (London) Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Congress.
Member, Warsaw, Lodz and Interregional Committee, Social-Democratic Party of Poland and Lith. Repeatedly arrested and exiled. 1916 exiled to village Tungurka, Irkutsk Province.
After 1917 February Revol with Irkutsk Executive Committee and with Irkutsk Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) Committee. From April 1917 member, Pctrograd Soviet. Member, Centr Executive Committee, Social-Democratic Party of Poland and Lith groups in Russia.
Worked for Polish newspaper “Tribuna". Elected to Constituent Assembly on Petrograd Bolshevik list. July 1917 arrested by Provisional Government.
Participated in 1917 October Revol. Member, Petrograd Military Revol Committee. Collegium member, People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs.
Late 1918 sent to Western Front. Elected member, Central Committee, Communist Party Belorussian and Lith. Belorussian and Lith People’s Commissar of Military Affairs.
From April 1919 in Red Army. Member, Revol Military Council, 16th Army. Then member, Revol Military Council, Western Front.
From April 1921 deputy chairman, All-Russian Extraordinary Commission Against Counterrevolution, Sabotage and Speculation (Joint State Political Administration). Late 1923 appointed member, USSR Revol Military Council and Red Army chief of supply. From February 1925 USSR Deputy People’s Commissar of Military and Naval Affairs.
1927 elected deputy chairman, USSR Social to Promote the Aviation, Chemical and Defense lnd. 1930 Presidium member, Supreme Economic Council. 1930-1933 deputy chairman, USSR State Planning Committee.
1933 chief arbiter, USSR Council of People’s Commissar. 1933-1935 head, Main Civil Aviation Board. February 1935 at 7th Congress of Soviets elected secretary, Union Council, USSR Centr Executive Committee.
Member, Centr Executive Committee of all convocations. At 13th Parly Congress elected member, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Centr Auditing Commission. At 14th, 15th and 17th Party Congresses elected candidate member.
Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Arrested by State Security organs.
Religion doesn't give equal treatment to women and therefore contradicts basic human rights.
The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
