WAKEFIELD, Henry Russell was born on December 1, 1854 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Son of F. Wakefield, Justice of the Peace, Broomfield, Company Wicklow, and Emily, daughter of Leatham Howard. Great-grandson of Gilbert Wakefield, the celebrated scholar.
