Quotations: "In my works to date, I have tried to combine cultural history with a strong narrative to give a sense of an Apache viewpoint on the events that have shaped their history and forged the dominant myths of the west. This required the well-footnoted stretching some of the conventions of historical narrative, but hopefully resulted in a new perspective on these tragic and compelling events."
Peter Aleshire is married to Elissa Hugens. They have three children, Seth, Noah, and Caleb.
