Career
He scored his first goal at Vale Park on 27 September 1958, in a 3–2 defeat to Crystal Palace. He scored two goals in 13 games in the 1959-1960 season, as Norman Low"s side adapted well to the Third Division. He never featured for Bill McGarry"s "Cherries" in the 1961-1962 campaign, and left Dean Court for Southern League side Yeovil Town.
He left Huish Park for Bedford Town, though left the "Eagles" after they were relegated out of the Premier Division of the Southern League in 1966-1967.
He returned to the Football League Third Division for a short stint with Gillingham, where he rejoined manager Basil Hayward, in 1967. His stay at the Priestfield Stadium was short, and he featured in just nine league games for the "Gills".
He later played for Almer Hall"s Margate back in the Southern League. with Portuguese Vale.
