Colonel commanding 1st Regiment Georgia Cavalry. Now brigadier general Georgia National Guard, retired. Organized and commanded Georgia State Guard during World War.

Major general commanding Georgia Division Confed. Veterans. Trustee University of Georgia, Confederate Memorial Association, Confederate Soldiers Home. Home: Savannah, Ga.
