Background
Philip M. Papaelias was born in 1947, in Suez, Egypt, the 18th of July 1947, from Greek parents. Large Greek communities in several towns of Egypt were existing at that time. He served more than 39 years at the National University of Athens Greece first in the Nuclear Physics Laboratory and later in The Astrophysics Section of the School of Physics where he was teaching Cosmology and High Energy Astrophysics at the Departments of Physics and Mathematics. His research interestts are in particle physics with experiments at CERN, mainly in antiproton with proton reactions. He also develloped he physics of antimatter meteors.
