Secretary Nebraska State Banking Board, 1897-1901. Cashier Columbia National Bank, Lincoln, Nebraska, 1901-1907. Organized, 1907, and from then president, Central National Bank, Lincoln.

Also president Bank of Mead, since 1897. Chairman Democratic State Central Committee, 1898-1904. Member and v.-chairman Democratic National Committee, 1908-1912.
