Philippe has written many plays (among others "The Chocolate Eaters" , "The Invisible" , "The Forgotten Village Beyond the Mountains," "The Witnesses," "Tubing" ), novels (notably "From Cinders and Smoke," "The Book of Rabinovich," and "Johnny Brussels"). Some of his works have been translated into Italian, German, Chinese, Russian, Dutch. Philippe has also staged some of the pieces he wrote and directed several films.

Achievements

• In 2004 Philippe Blasband wrote the best Belgian screenplay "Le Tango des Rashevski" (2003) and was nominated for The Joseph Plateau Award. In 2012 Philippe Blasband wrote the best screenplay ''Romantics Anonymous'' (2010) and was nominated for Magritte Award. In 2014 Philippe Blasband wrote the best screenplay "Vijay and I" (2013) and was nominated for Magritte Award.
