At age eleven, Pietro Bianchini began studying the violin. In 1842, when he was thirteen years old, was admitted to join as a student in the orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice and in a few years became a violinist.
Pietro Bianchini was a violinist, teacher, and conductor. Without having made regular studies, he composed trios and quartets, deemed worthy of consideration by the conductor of the Teatro La Fenice G. Mares.
