Polina Siutsova is a Belarusian physicist and educator whose documented research concerns rapidly solidified metallic alloys, including the structure, texture, phase composition, and mechanical properties of aluminum-based foils and related materials. She worked as an assistant professor at the Belarusian State Technological University and published with researchers from Belarusian State University.
Education
Siutsova pursued doctoral study at Belarusian State University from September 1, 2005, to September 1, 2006, and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Her academic work developed within materials physics and the study of rapidly solidified alloys, a research direction reflected in her subsequent publications on aluminum-based foils and alloy microstructures.
Career
Siutsova worked as an assistant professor at the Belarusian State Technological University in Minsk from September 1, 2006, through November 29, 2011. Alongside her educational work, she participated in materials-physics research on rapidly solidified alloys. Her documented publications examine the texture, microstructure, phase relations, hardness, and mechanical behavior of aluminum-based and other rapidly quenched metallic foils, including Al–Ni–Cr and Al–Ni–Zr systems. Her research appeared in international journals such as Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Inorganic Materials, and Russian Metallurgy.
