Pran Nath

Background

Pran Nath was born on October 1, 1911 in Nagina, Haryana, India.

Education

Pran Nath was educated at Banaras Hindu University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science (First Class Second) degree in 1930, as well as Master of Science (First Class First) in 1932. Also he received D.I.C. (Mathematical Statistics) in London (1948). Moreover, he was awarded Doctor of Science (Great Hons.) degree at Paris University in 1949.

Career

Pran Nath joined Banaras Hindu University Teaching Staff in 1934. Later he was in charge of Mathematics Section at Engineering College, Banaras Hindu University.
