Bachvarova played college basketball in the United States with the Virginia Commonwealth University women’s team. After returning to Europe, she began her professional career and went on to compete in several national leagues.
During the 2011–2012 season, she played in France with Arras Pays d'Artois Basket Féminin in the Ligue Féminine de Basketball. In the 2012–2013 season, she continued in France with Union Féminine Angers Basket 49. In the 2013–2014 season, she joined UNI Győr in Hungary, competing in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A and participating in European club competitions.
She later continued her career in Bulgaria, playing for BC Dunav 8806 and subsequently for BC Beroe Stara Zagora in the Bulgarian Women’s Basketball League, including appearances in EuroCup Women. She also represented the Bulgarian women’s national basketball team in EuroBasket qualification tournaments, primarily playing as a shooting guard.
