Rafael Rangel-Aldao

Rangel-Aldao was born on May 5, 1946 in Caracas, Venezuela; son of J. Rafael and Georgina (Aldao) Rangel-Aldao.

Education

Rafael studied at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. In 1969 he became a Doctor of Medicine.In 1977 he was a student of the Yeshiva University in New York City, United States. He received a degree of the Doctor of Philosophy.

Career

Rafael was an instructor of biochemistry at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela from 1969 to 1972. In five year he worked as a research associate at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, United States. He worked there until 1978. Since 1978 he was an assistant professor at the Universidad de Carabobo in Maracay, Venezuela. He worked there for two years.

From 1980 to 1983 he worked as an associate professor at the Universidad de Carabobo in Maracay, Venezuela. In 1983 he became a professor of the Universidad de Carabobo in Maracay, Venezuela. He worked there until 1987. In this year he worked as a professor at Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela.

In 1987 Rafael became a national manager of biotechnology in Empresas Polar in Caracas, Venezuela. Since 1992 Rafael worked as a director of the Museum of Science in Caracas, Venezuela.
