Co-recipient Biological Sciences award, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, 2005; recipient All-India Biotechnology Association award, 2001-2002.

Career

Science officer C to science officer Bhabha Atomic Research Center, 1976—1992. Scientist F National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, India, 1992—1997, scientist G, 1997, head molecular biology and genetic engineering division, director, since 2006.
