Ramamurti Tiruvadi was born on June 26, 1912 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Education

Ramamurti Tiruvadi graduated from Madras University in 1934. He had a Diploma in Communication Engineering, I. I. Sc., Bangalore 1935.

Career

Ramamurti Tiruvadi worked as a Research Scholar in Bangalore (1935-1938). He was a proprietor of the Radjo Laboratories (1938-1943); Chief Engineer and General Manager, Hindustan Radios (1943-1945). Ramamurti Tiruvadi was a technical director of the National EKCO Radio Engineering Co. Ltd. (1945-1950).

Ramamurti Tiruvadi was also a Senior Scientific Officer and Technical Secretary to the Director of the National Physical Laboratory (since 1950).

He toured Western Europe, Hungary and the USA. Ramamurti had some publications: about fifteen articles. He also had eleven patents.
