Education
1931 graduate Leningrad Mining Institute.
Career
1931-1938 led geological survey groups. Chief engineering, then head, Kaz Geological Board. From 1938 at various establishments of Kaz Branch, L1SSR Academy of Sciences.
From 1940 deputy director, Academy of Geological Sciences. Led teams which discovered and surveyed chromite deposit in Mugodzhary, phosphorite deposit in Karatau, the Tekeli and Nikolavcv mixed metal deposits and the large copper deposit at Boshchckul’. Wrote papers on regional geology, stratigraphy, tectonics, vulcanism and mctallogeny.
Helped to compile prognostic metallogcnetic maps of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics and Kazakhstan
