Career

Ordained ministry Disciples of Christ, 1873. Teacher and preacher various communities in Texas. Associated with brother, Addison, in founding Add-Ran College, Thorp Springs, Texas, 1873, and conducted same 22 years (college moved to Fort Worth, 1910, and now called Texas Christian U.).

Elected chaplain Texas State Senate, 1925.
