Ray Ransom studied at Western Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1995. Also, he graduated from the California Coast University in Santa Ana. There Ransom received a Master of Business Administration in 1996 and a Doctor of Philosophy in business administration in 1998. Career

Ray Ransom served as a broker and office manager at Ransom Realty Incorporated from 1979 to 1986. He also was a Mortgage Broker in 1981-1985 and worked as a president at the Rokee Dian Corporation, a real estate investment company, in 1983-1986 and Raw Records, a record company, in 1986-1988. Besides, he served as a sergeant at the Civil Air Patrol from 1984 to 1985. Additionally, Ray Ransom is a business consultant to Palm West Publishing and a freelance writer. Moreover, he is a freelance distance education consultant to high school and college dropouts and the disadvantaged.
