Background

Rebecca Dolinsky was born on May 26, 1962 in New York City. She first lived in Paris, France in 1982 and then at The Ecole Normale Superieure rue d'Ulm from 1984-1985 where she studied with Jacques Derrida. Dolinsky has two sons with the mathematician Frank Merle, Jascha Theophile Dolinsky Merle born May 23, 2002 and Maxim Salomon Dolinsky Merle, born June 13, 2007.
