Faelten, Reinhold was born on January 17, 1856 in Ilmenau, Thuringia. Son of Carl G. and Frederika (Möller) Faelten.

Education

Educated Normal School, Weimar, Germany. Studied music with Klughard and Gottschalg, Weimar.

Career

Taught at Frankfort-on-the-Main, Germany, Baltimore and Boston. With brother, Carl F., founded the Faelten Pianoforte School, Boston, 1897. Wrote, with brother, books of the Faelten System.
