Reuben Spitz was born on October 28, 1954 in Middletown, Connecticut, United States; the son of Nathaniel and Leah (Taylor) Spitz.

Education

Reuben Spitz received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nasson College in 1977, a Master of Arts degree from Connecticut College in 1994 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Yeshiva University in 1998.

Career

Reuben T. Spitz began his career at the City Coal Corporation as executive vice president in 1979. He held this position till 1997. In 1998 Reuben was appointed as a clinical associate at Clinical Health Psychology Associates. From 1984 to 1990 he was president at Chapel Hill Vineyards. He also was a visiting instructor at Central Connecticut State University. Currently, he is a male clinical psychologist in Waterford.

Spitz is also a contributor to periodicals, including Psychiatric Quarterly, Ethnicity and Disease, Journal of Behavioral Medicine, Psychological Reports, and Aggression and Violent Behavior.
