Delegate of the Faculty of Letters of San Marcos to the Student Congress of Cuzco, 1920. Secretary of the editorial staffs of La Prensa and La Crónica, of Lima. Chief editor of Variedades and El Perú of Lima.
Member of the Municipal Council of Lima. Representative of La Nación of Buenos Aires in Perú. Formerly contributor to other Peruvian and foreign newspapers and periodicals.
At present (1934) consul general of Perú in Argentina.
