He has a national reputation for using innovative methods to combat antisocial behaviour of which some have proved controversial such as a blanket ban on drinking alcohol in the street He is also currently seconded to the Home Office as a Regional Advisor to the Violent Crime Unit agenda on behalf of Government Crime Advisor, Louise Casey.
