Quotations: "Writing is an intrinsic part of the scientific process. The effective communication of research data and conclusions legitimizes the research and contributes to the ongoing process of each scientist building on the work of others. After a few years in veterinary practice, I decided to further my education and opted for a research career. I enjoy writing, and my recent teaching text on toxicology allowed me greater latitude in writing style and an opportunity to address some social aspects that are not usually available in conventional scientific writing.”
