Rihe Toda became president of Toda-Gumi Civil Engineering & Construction Company (1936). Appointed chief director of Kensetsu Kurabu (Construction Club) (1947) and managing director of Zenkoku Kensetsugyo Kyokai (National Construction Business Association) (1948).
Held additional posts including those of director of Tokyo Chamber of Commerce & Industry (since 1947), managing director of Keidanren (Federation of Economic Organizations) and president of Toyosu Lumber Company.
