Roan Ozawa was a Japanese waka poet and clansman. He was well known as one of the Four Best Waka Composers in Kyoto, the others being Kokei Ban, Chogetsu and Jien.

Studied waka poetry under Tamenari Reizei.
Career
A clansman of the Inuyama Clan in Owari Province (Aichi Prefecture), he was proficient in martial arts. Lived in Osaka, then Kyoto and, in his later years, in Okazaki and Uzumasa, Kyoto Prefecture.
