Career
He is currently the head coach for EHC Black Wings Linz of the Austrian Hockey League. Daum also serves as an assistant coach with Team Austria, and was with the team at the 2012 and 2013 IIHF World Championships, and at the 2014 Winter Olympics. During the 2007-2008 National Hockey League season he was an assistant caoch with the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.
He has been a head coach in the American Hockey League with both the Houston Aeros (2005 to 2007) and Springfield Falcons (2008 to 2010).
