Career
In 1990 he succeeded William West. Stinson as president of Canadian Pacific Railway. and in 1995 succeeded I. Barry Scott as its Chief Executive Officer also. In 2004 he was awarded the by Railway Age. He stood down as president an Chief Executive Officer of the company in May 2006 and was replaced by Fred Green (2006 - 2012).
