Entered service of Schuttler & Hotz, manufacturers of wagons, upon graduation from Yale. Was in charge of their exhibit at World’s Columbian Exposition, 1893. Became traveling salesman, 1894-1896, traffic manager, 1897, secretary, 1902, Vice-President, 1904.
Resigned September 1, 1905.
Member Hotz & Rehm, real estate and investments, 1906-1911. Vice president Citizens’ Association of Chicago.
Commissioner of Chicago Association Commerce to investigate the “Potentia” movement in Europe and spent a year, 1910, in visiting the capitals and principal cities in behalf of the association.
