President Echo Farm Company, Litchfield, Connecticut, 1881-1888, and was president Kanawha & Ohio Railroad Company, Kanawha & Michigan Railroad Company, The Warren-Burnham Company, Virginia Portland Cement Company, Vulcan Portland Cement Company, Holly Sugar Company, etc. Now president William Holland Wilmer Foundation.

Chairman of the Board American Ice Company.
