Robert Tewsley is an English freelance dancer who regularly appears as a guest principal all over the world.

Career

He also appeared on television in the ARTE production Penelope, a pas de deux created for Marcia Haydée and Robert Tewsley by Christian Spuck in 2006. More recently, he participated in the NHK “Super Ballet Lesson” series, where he was filmed in the Balcony Pas de Deux from Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet, partnering Miyako Yoshida. He also taught a ballet Master Class in Prague in August 2009.

Achievements

  • In 2002 Tewsley was elected "Dancer of the Year" by the European Dance Magazine Dance Europe.
