Robyn Selman received her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University in 1980. In 1983 she finished her studies at Sarah Lawrence College with Master of Fine Arts degree.

Mrs. Selman has served as a copy and text writer for a photographic publishing company in New York City since 1986.
