Roger Parloff was born on September 21, 1955 in Washington, District of Columbia, United States, into the family of Morris B. and Gloria H. Parloff.

Education

In 1977 Roger received Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University, and then he earned Juris Doctor at Yale University in 1982.

Career

Roger Parloff started his career as a Law clerk to U.S. District Judge William Wayne Justice in Tyler, Texas, in 1982 - 1983. After that he moved to New York City and served for a year as an assistant district attorney at the Office of the District Attorney. Then he held the position of a criminal defense attorney at Goldman & Hafetz from 1984 to 1987.

Since 1988 Roger works as a senior writer at the American Lawyer Media.
