Ron Carter

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he played collegiately for the Virginia Military Institute. He was a guard. Carter was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2nd round (26th pick overall) of the 1978 National Basketball Association Draft. He played for the Lakers (1978-1979) and Indiana Pacers (1979-1980) in the National Basketball Association for 59 games.
Ronald Carter III was a 2-time National Collegiate Athletic Association All-American triple jumper while attended California State University, Long Beach.
Paul Carter played collegiate basketball at the University of Illinois at Chicago and plays professionally in Europe. Ron Carter is currently the city manager of Benton Harbor, Michigan.
