Ronald Everett Barry, American biology educator. Achievements include patent for timing device for live animal traps; research in population biology and spatial and temporal relationships of small mammals, population biology and behavioral ecology of hyraxes, gastrointestinal morphology of small mammals. Fulbright Senior Research fellow, Zimbabwe, 1991; co-author National Science Foundation grantee, 1981-1984; National Geographic grantee, 1991.
