Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College in 1967.
Wilson began her career as a teacher at California Culinary Academy in 1989 and held it for ten years. There she taught the "Food and Wine Affinities". In 1992, she became an editor of Palate and Spirit Magazine. Since 1996 Rosina has been a senior editor of Wine X Magazine.
