Background
Rostislav Georgievich Mironovich was born on March 4, 1904 in Maykop, Republic of Adygeya, Russian Federation. His father was a graduate of the Historical and Philological Institute of the city of Nezhin and a teacher of history, Russian language and literature.
Education
Rostislav Georgievich studied at the gymnasium in Gori, Georgia. He started to play the flute in the brass band there, and wanted to become a conductor. In 1922-1927 Rostislav studied at the Krasnodar Agricultural Institute and the music school in flute class.
Career
In 1937-1939 Rostislav Georgievich worked at the music school of Michurinsk. In 1934-1941 he was a soloist of the Symphony orchestra (Moscow), at the same time conductor of the Opera Ensemble under the direction of I.S. Kozlovsky (1939-1941).
During 1943-1945 provided musical accompaniment for all performances of the theater, composed music for choreographies A. Shatina for concert programs artists, circus troupe V. Oskal-ool, wrote the 1st act of the first national Opera "Chechen and Belema".
In 1945 he first performed a concert for limby, composed by Aksenov. From 1945 to 1962 he was a conductor at the Kyrgyz Opera and ballet theatre. He taught at the Kyrgyz music school in the class of flute, conducting, theoretical disciplines.
Rostislav Georgievich received the title of honored artist of the Kyrgyz SSR. In early 1962 he became a conductor of the Voronezh Opera and ballet theatre. He taught flute at the Voronezh music school and the Voronezh Institute of arts. He taught in the Opera class from 1973 to 1997.
