Conductor of the Orchestra and Choir of the Voronezh Imperial Russian Musical Society (1869-1871). Participated in concerts, acted as a pianist. Teacher of the Saratov Diocesan Women's School. Director of the Tambov Music Classes of the Men's Gymnasium and the Local Branch of the Imperial Russian Musical Society (1880-1887). Helped with the creation of the choir and string orchestra. Since 1887 he lived in Odessa.
