Rukmini Kishore Dutta Roy

Rukmini Kishore Dutta Roy was born on the 1st March, 1903 in Austagram. He was the son of K.K. Dutta Roy and Swarnamoyee Devi.

Education

In 1926 Rukmini Kishore Dutta Roy graduated from the Dacca University and received a Master of Science degree. In 1933 he graduated from Technische Hoch Scule, Hanover (Germany) and got a Doctor of Engineering (Chemical Technology).

Career

In 1934-1936 Rukmini Kishore Dutta Roy was a lecturer in Chemistry at Tata Metallurgical & Technical Institute in Jamshedpur. In 1936-1959 - Chief Chemist, Geological Survey of India. Toured Western Europe. Fellow: Indian Chemical Society, National Institute of Sciences of India.
