Ryuichi Sano Became senior managing director of Tekkosha (1928), president of Nihon Sekiei Garasu Kaisha (Japan Quartz Glass Manufacturing Company) (1936), president of Tokiwa Godo Tanko (Tokiwa United Coal Mine), director of Nihon Carbon Company and president of Tekkosha (1939), president of Nihon Seiyaku Kaisha (Nihon Pharmaceutical Company) (1941), chairman of Plastic Society (1949) and president of Nihon Carbon Company (1953).
Holds additional posts of president of Japan Ferroalloy Association and Japan Soda Industry Society, managing director of Japan Chemical Industry Association, director of Coal & Nitrogen Industry Union, Nihon Engyo Kyokai (Japan Salt Industry Association) and Nihon Sangyo Kyokai (Japan Industrial Association) and councilor of Keidanren (Federation of Economic Organizations) and Electrochemistry Association. Visited U.S.A. (1950).
