Background
Sabine Dunser grew up in Schaan with her family. Her musical talent was discovered pretty early. At the age of four Sabine took classes of the flute. Observing her successes some teachers supposed she had a great musical talent that was to be encouraged. And Sabine did everything possible to become a pretty good musician. She spent a great number of time devoting herself to music.
When she got older Sabine decided to study logopedics. In order to fulfill her dream the girl had to attend a voice-therapy because her voice had been constantly hoarse. During this therapy the reason for the hoarseness was found: nodules on Sabine’s vocal cords. She needed a surgery to get rid of her problem. The consequence was not very rosy: she wasn’t allowed to sing for six months, her throat was physically affected, so her voice was often entirely gone in the morning and swallowing caused pain. Furthermore her studies of logopedics delayed.
In order not to do nothing and to wait till her voice will recover Sabine decided to study therapeutic pedagogy for a year.
When her voice was finally OK she could begin to study logopedics. Later she became a speech therapist and worked in a school in Triesen.
