Saburo Miyazaki

Background

Saburo Miyazaki was born in 1894 in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.

Education

He graduated from Medical Department of Kyoto University in 1919. Studied pharmacology at Heidelberg University in Germany from 1928.

Career

Served as the assistant at his alma mater and then as the assistant professor at Keio University. Toured Europe and America inspecting the medical world in 1937 and in 1944 became professor and dean of students of Medical Department of Nihon University. Held additional post of trustee of Nihon Yakuri Gakukai (Japan Pharmacological Society).
