After graduation entered Electric Experimental Station and was appointed director (1945). Sakuji Komagata appointed to the post of director of Agency of Industrial Science and Technology of Ministry of Communications (1952). Works include "Electrochemistry and Electric Permeation."
Sakuji Komagata was a Member of Japan Science Council (from 1950). As member of Atomic Energy Investigation Commission made official tours to Europe and America to investigate the atomic energy situation in various countries (1954).
