HORTON, Samuel Dana was born in 1844 in United States of America.

Career

With F. A. Walker, one of the leading advocates of an international bimetallic coinage. He argued the effectiveness of bimetallism from historical evidence and disregarded the success of Britain with its single standard as an exceptional example. In his later years he abandoned his legal practice and devoted himself entirely to the cause of bimetallism.
